One the left of the screen locate the icon to “self-enroll” If you are not logged-in you will need to do so. Click “Submit” to finish the enrollment At the enrollment confirmation page select “ok” in the bottom right corner You are now enrolled in your course. Assignments • All assignments will be available no later than June 25th at 9:00am • Assignments will include: • Graphic Organizers on the readings • Readings quiz • Document Analysis • Supplemental power points and videos • All assignments will be due on Tuesday September 4th at 7:00 am
Grading Total points for the Summer assignments will be 60-75 points. That should amount to approximately 10% of the MP1 grade Summer assignment will be reflected as a single grade in Marking Period 1 Work submitted after the due date will be penalized 50% for lateness. No exceptions.
Purpose The ultimate goal of this assignment is give our students the best chance possible to pass the AP Exam and earn College Credit. • This assignment will introduce students to: • Some of the skills required for success in AP US History I, especially the development of independent reading skills and strategies • Resources available to help your understanding of the course material • Review key concepts from 8th grade as an introduction to AP U.S. History I • To emphasize the requisite skills and depth of knowledge for students to ensure that all students begin the year prepared for the challenges of AP U.S. History • Foster critical thinking and analysis skills
