To ensure a productive learning atmosphere, students must adhere to the following classroom rules: Be seated and ready when the bell rings, keep food and drinks away from computers, and respect all computer usage instructions. Students should avoid distractions, do not download or copy files without permission, and maintain cleanliness in the room. Additionally, appropriate internet usage is mandatory. Violations may result in loss of privileges or administrative action. Together, we can create a respectful and focused classroom environment!

1. You must be in your seat and ready to start class when the bell rings. If you come in late, you will sign the “Late Sheet”
2. No food or drinks will be permitted around the computers. 3. Do not “Wheel” around in your chair. 4. Push your chair in at the end of class.
5. Remain seated until the bell rings. If you are not seated you will stay behind. 6. You will not access areas of the computer, programs, or files that you have not been cleared to use. 7. Stay out of the control panel and the system folder.
8. Do not put any file or program in the trash with out permission. 9. Do not download anything without the teacher’s permission. 10. Do not copy programs to or from the computers without permission (it might be illegal).
11. When you are finished with all of your assignments, you may use the computer lab to: a. Do homework. b. Do work for another class. c. www.sporcle.com
12. Help keep the room clean. Throw your trash in the garbage!
14. Using the computer to play games (other than those approved) will result in you losing your computer privileges. Repeated offense of this rule will result in administrative referral.
15. You may listen to music throw your computer. No iPods! 1 earphone in & 1 out! 16. Chat rooms and instant messaging are not permitted at any time.
18. No hacking or unauthorized access to other students files will be permitted. 19. All internet sites accessed must be appropriate for school. Sites must not contain adult topics, foul language, racism, pornography, hate, or violence.
20. All students must first have on file and signed by a parent an internet usage form before he/she may use the internet or email. AUP 21. The form is available from the instructor or can be downloaded at class website
