NISD Print Shop • NISD is in the process of implementing a new web-based print job submission program (WebCRD) that will allow users to submit jobs electronically to the Print Shop • WebCRD will be rolled out to Central Office employees during the summer and to all Campuses at the start of the 2010-2011 school year

  3. WebCRD • WebCRD is a Web-based print ordering, production management and cost tracking application that will automate print job submission to the NISD Print Shop • WebCRD increases productivity and enhances satisfaction within reproduction facilities and will improve turnaround time

  4. WebCRD • Web-based print order workflow for NISD Personnel • Submit print requests to Print Shop direct from desktop PC • Order print from on-line document library of standard print jobs • Training materials, business cards, forms

  7. Desktop PDF Conversion • WebCRD will allow users to convert their Microsoft Office documents to PDF documents for submission to the Print Shop.

  9. Single Page Job Ticketing • User selects job attributes • User billing and location information auto populates • Calculates job estimate • Saves job in user archive folder You may delete this page.

WebCRD Benefits • One person at each Campus will act as the Principal’s Designee for approving jobs before they are sent • Will allow Campuses/Departments to see a job cost before approving the job to be sent to Print Shop • Will allow Campuses/Departments to view their real time Print Shop budget

  16. Print Shop Housekeeping • Print Shop has been receiving a lot of jobs under the name of the long-term sub. Please ask your long-term subs to place their orders under the name of the teacher for whom they are subbing. If they are in a temporary vacant position, please have them indicate “sub” next to their name on the job ticket • Print Shop has a new email address – please use printshop@nisdtx.org to submit jobs or ask questions. This will allow all Print Shop employees to access the jobs/questions and ensure better efficiency
