Employer endorsement: • Employers will undertake direct observations of practice in a range of different contexts, quality of written work, and take responsibility for endorsing frontline practitioners and practice supervisor candidates as the assessment • 2. Employer Online assessment of knowledge: • This will comprise questions which test the candidate’s level of knowledge using questions which have only one correct answer (e.g. legislation, procedures, child development, mental health) • 3. Scenario based online assessment of applied knowledge and skills: • This is a scenario-based assessment of critical reasoning and decision making • 4. Observed interactive practice simulation: • Candidates will be observed in an assessment centre in three controlled interactive simulations of practice. They will then undertake a written exercise and engage in a discussion with the assessor to provide a rationale about the way they responded
