The basics AQA English Literature Literature Paper 1 = 1hr 45m • Section A = Macbeth • Section B = The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde Literature Paper 2 = 2hr 15m • Section A = An Inspector Calls • Section B = Love and Relationships poetry anthology • Section C = Unseen poetry AQA English Language Both Language papers = 1hr 45m • Section A has four reading questions • Section B has one writing question Language Paper 1 = Fiction (one extract) Language Paper 2 = Non-fiction (two extracts, one of which will be 19thC)

  3. English Language – How can I revise? Read, read, read! Practise, practise, practise! • Use the notes from your exercise books, as well as feedback from assessments and exams. • Use the specimen exam papers in the shared area. • Mr Bruff videos – all available on youtube. • Buy the revision and practice guide from the finance office – use it! • Have a go at the tasks on the ‘Revision – how to’ sheet: X:\Curriculum Subjects\English\! Year 11 revision resources!

  4. English Literature – How can I revise?
