  1. The construction and design of a yacht's interior Click to Edit Sub Title

  2. Particularly luxurious yachts might take months or even years to build. They used to take an average of three to four years to build, but currently they may be seaworthy in as little as 15 months after production starts! These yachts, sometimes known as gulets, are amazing because trained craftsmen continue to construct them by hand even now. There is no effortless way to explain how to build a yacht, but Turkey is the best place to learn how to do it. Some of the best and most renowned yachts are being constructed here throughout the Mediterranean Coast, from Istanbul all the way down to Marmaris. In the 1980s, even the well-regarded Italian engineer Fabio Perini exported his goods to Turkey. His company has been continuously producing opulent, multi-million-dollar sailboats and yachts for more than three decades out of the Yildiz Gemi shipyard in Northern Turkey on the Sea of Marmara (which connects to the Mediterranean).

  3. For many generations, families in Turkey have relied on the production of wooden gulets in addition to luxury yachts. The valued information and talents are transmitted from master to apprentice, frequently remaining within the family. A gulet is entirely constructed by hand, from the basic boat structure to the final glazing. These historically hand-crafted canoes, distinguishable by their round keel and unusual wooden build, are considered superior by the locals. They have been navigating the oceans since the Ottoman Empire's founding, more than 1500 years ago, when the boats were mostly utilized for sponge and pearl diving. Today, the majority of gulets are opulent vessels with plush interiors and cozy furniture that are either privately owned or are used for charter excursions. In cities in the Marmaris, Bodrum, and Bozburun peninsulas, where they continue the Turkish history of producing exceptional maritime vessels, building boats has become a way of life. Requests for new boats are continuously coming in from many nations. Gulets continue to be the lifeblood of Turkey's maritime industry, despite a gap in global demand between contemporary yachts and traditional boats.

  4. While a yacht's structural engineering is important, let's not forget that a superyacht's interior design contributes to its opulent appearance. Private yacht customers are often business professionals who spend a lot of their time working and are therefore looking for the most relaxing environment when they are on vacation. Many interior yacht designers favor this style because bamboo, wood, and light materials provide a sense of luxury while yet conjuring up images of a "carefree summer." Unbelievably, private jets and mega yachts share a lot of similarities in their interior decor. Feng Shui, the practice of placing physical objects in the most advantageous locations to produce a serene, pleasant aesthetic, is one of the most crucial elements of interior design for both types of luxury vessels. Having the proper feng shui is essential for interior designers, whether they are working on a catamaran, superyacht, or small motorboat. Alberto Pinto Interior Design, one of the most well-known yacht designers, collaborated with a qualified Feng shui expert.
