  6. Head Modeler/Shader • NURBS surface is constructed by providing control pnts • Movement of ctrl pnts yields surface deformation • GLSL is used to implement cartoon and glass shaders • Go to Demo

  7. Rope as Particle System • Rope is modeled as particles ( ) connected to each other w/ springs • Rope is subjected to time-varying wind force (applied to particles) • Go to Video or Demo

  8. Rigid Body Motion • Rectangular box inside a cube under user-specified forces and torques • Collision detection/response • Go to Demo

  9. Jelly Block Deformation • Finite Element Model (FEM) of a jelly block made up of tetrahedral elements • User-specified force is applied to an arbitrary node ( ) of FEM • Go to Demo
