Prevention • Stay away from people who already have strep throat. • Wash your hands.(especially before you eat) • Bacteria enters your body when you touch your face; avoid touching your face unless your hands are washed.
Possible Treatments • Antibiotics such as penicillin help to destroy the bacteria cells • Ibuprofens such as Advil help to relieve symptoms • An acetaminophen such as Tylenol helps to get rid of the pain and fever
