  4. Twitter Tips • Find people with similar interests and follow them • Read and respond to their tweets • Tweet regularly • Make fun, interesting, and useful Tweets • Engage community; foster discussion

  5. Twitter RSS • Add your Twitter account to NING with the RSS feature. • You can also let Twitter automatically update your Facebook status updates.

  6. Podcasting • iTunes and other services require an RSS feed to publish your podcast. • Two easy ways to do this: • Podbean • Feedburner

  7. Notes on Saving Podcast • Make sure your have entered authorship information. • If show is too large, try breaking it up into multiple episodes.

  8. Podbean – Easy Solution • Create podcast, save in .mp3 format • Create an account at http://podbean.com • Click “publish a podcast” • Upload file • Submit your podbean RSS feed to iTunes, odeo, etc. • Add RSS feed to your NING site.

  9. Feedburner – Slightly Harder • Using NING, create a blog post and attach your podcast using the file upload feature. • For all of your podcasts, add a tag called “podcast.” • Click the “podcast” tag on your new post. • Click the RSS feed for your podcast. • Copy RSS feed.

  10. Feedburner Continued • Create an account at http://feedburner.google.com • Copy feed into “burn a feed right this instant,” selecting “I am a podcaster.” • Copy Feedburner’s feed for your podcast (something like http://feeds.feedburner.com....)

  11. Submitting to iTunes • Create iTunes account and log in. • Go to iTunes Store • Click “podcasts” • Click “Submit a Podcast” • Enter feed from podbean or Feedburner
