Project Goals • Goal: To increase the enrollment, retention, and graduation of women as baccalaureate-level engineers. • Train the trainer model: A group of Experts are providing support to the Collaborating Organizations: • ASME; • IEEE; and • Project Lead the Way (PLTW) • Who, in turn, will include gender equity training in their ongoing professional development activities for their members

  3. EEES Primary Targets • Academic preparation for engineering study for middle school students (grade 6) through collegiate sophomore levels • Curricular content • Curricular scope and sequence design • Curriculum delivery and instructional style • The in-class social environment • The out-of-class social environment

  4. Resources Provided to Teachers and Faculty • Access to education research infrastructure of the National Academies • Access to recognized experts in gender studies in science and engineering • Limited pool of small grants of $500 to you and your department
