HELP FOR PARENTS and Students: • We haven’t forgotten you asked for help with difficult vocabulary • We made vocabulary books • Parent Suggestion: Upload PDFs to the Website • Parent Suggestion: Use Club period for vocab practice (morning vocabulary too short/ chaotic) • Parent Suggestion: Daily English Conversation Problem of AEL 2 and AEL 3 Club Term 1
Homework • We’ll make sure homework is written in homework books • Ensure group work is largely done in school time. • Level of homework?
Edmodo.com Feeling at the meeting was it might be better just to stick to using the Facebook page for updates. • Revisiting the idea of Edmodo. • Started with AEL1 only • If students/ parents use it, we will expand to other levels.
AEL 6: Books and Curriculum Home Ec. course book has now arrived. • Home Ec. course book • Disagreement with the publisher. We re-ordered, still waiting and chasing the publisher. • Science Curriculum • A lot of material to study • Possibility that for AEL 6, we start the Science Curriculum during Summer School. • But, only if Academic Department approves this.

Please help at home • You can borrow books from Mr. Gerald and Pandora (Thai/English) to practice reading • Check homework-record note book • Speak in English at home and outside sometimes • Use the DVD-Rom from Super Minds Family & Friends
