Both automated testing and test automation facilitate continuous testing. Also, the practitioners have to combine both automated testing and test automation in an agile or DevOps environment. Hence, most enterprises nowadays use specialized tools to evaluate the quality of their applications throughout the SDLC and track/manage the changing testing requirements.
