  5. Machine Schedule • Completion of manufacture ~ end-February 2007 • Acceptance Tests in Amersfoort NL (or PSI) • with HVEE, INFN, PSI ~ mid-April 2007 ? • Shipment to PSI ~ end-April ? • Machine Installation + • Shipment/Guarantee Test ~ mid-April to mid-May 2007 MEG Review February 2007

C-W Area Shielding • Planned Work needed for Completion • (By mid-April) • removal of walls + measure & • layout check - freeze design • order special shielding + start • standard shielding construction • infrastructure completion: • water, compressed-air, power • Safety systems completion (Interlock) • Ministry of Health Approval • test of Safety System (Beg. April) MEG Review February 2007

Testing & Integration into Beam Schedule • Full test with LiF-target only possible when: • area + safety aspects completed • C-W beam line components magnets, vacuum chambers etc. at PSI • C-W Bellows System at PSI (will arrive soon storage arranged) • target prepared • CONSTRAINTS: • cannot be tested in parallel with Beam Commissioning • bellows system cannot be placed in zone DC insertion system needed • C-W Bellows System cannot be in place during any DS Insertion • TCs or DCs or End-Cap installation/removal !!! • Proposed Commissioning mid-April – mid-June •  SEE Proposed Beam Schedule 2007 MEG Review February 2007
