What is it? • This project’s goal is to educate the students and staff in the district about the importance of electricity conservation. • This will help save money foor the school district, and help it move one step closer to becoming a greener school district. • We also hope the students and staff will be able to apply what they learn from this project to their everyday lives so they too can be greener and save on their electricity bills.
Gameplan • The project is running from November 1st to April 25th (Intervals) • The amount saved is tallied in Kw/h and all data is applied to a chart. • We are running a video advertising the project and will soon post current data. • Also, we are sending out a weekly reminder tip to all staff to help encourage them to save. • The teams are the High School and Fretz against GGB and School Street. • The team that saves the most in Kw/h combined wins a free early dismissal in May.
