He is currently leading the Trissential effort in Minnesota todefine high performing business analysis that effectively feeds software development. Presentation With the development of better software development processes and tools over the past 40 years, Morris asks why is the finished software product still missing the business mark in many cases? What makes for software requirements that are traceable to the business and consumable by the technical staff? The answer is; it depends. We will explore some of the upstream drivers of business analysis/requirements and the downstream software development drivers of requirements that seem to be case specific.
