  3. TouchNet Bill Pay Suite • 3 modules of TouchNet Bill Pay Suite - 1st module E-Billing - 2nd module E-Refunds - 3rd module Tuition Payment Plans • Plans are built to suit your university needs • Online and Offline plans are available (student has to be administratively enrolled in an offline plan) • UNCW currently has a fall and spring 5, 4, 3 plans available; a fall and spring estimated budget 4 plan (offline) and a fall and spring administrative 2 pay plan (after drop/add) administrative enrollment on this plan as well. UNCW only has one plan for both summer I and summer II sessions.

  4. UNCW TealPay Payment Plans • Payment plans are based on the student account balance • Estimated Budget Payment Plans are for financial aid recipients where outside resources have not yet been memo or authorized (RPAARSC) • Payment plans can be set up to schedule monthly payments (this is an option) • Payments can be paid through electronic check, MasterCard through Paypath (with a 2.75% convenience fee), ATM Debit (limited) • If a student wants to sign up on a plan with cash, Travelex, or personal check than an administrator has to enroll the student

  5. UNCW TealPay Payment Plans • Plans are recalculated nightly to accommodate for any additional charges or credits, (emails sent if the installment increases) • Very important that the Banner application of payments (TGRAPPL) runs before TouchNet recalculation • All charges billed to the student account will be included in payment plan (as long as the detail codes are set up in the plan) • Important that students complete financial aid requirements so that when signing up for the plan, it will calculate correctly • Enrollment fee is automatically billed to the student account in Banner, university determines amount, UNCW charges $25.00 for all plans • TP Hold process is run to place HOLDS on the TGACPRF screen so students will not be dropped for non-payment

  6. Benefits • Interest Free • Convenience of paying tuition monthly rather than a lump sum • Flexible payment plans • No overages/shortages at the end of the term • Convenient setup through E-Bill/TouchNet • Payments post immediately- no time delay • UNCW realizes the revenue from the enrollment fee, late fee and interest gained on money received • Students and Authorized Users may set up the plan • Plan recalculates nightly as charges/credits are posted to the student Banner account • Ability to tailor plans for special circumstances (i.e., prepay accounts, financial aid) • Email notifications are sent to students/authorized users of payment increases
