How has the current president of Iran affected the GDP per capita and deaths per year compared to the previous presidents? Nur’s Macroeconomics Inquiry Project
My hypothesis • President Ahmadinejad has made Iran’s economy and annual deaths worse compared to the presidents before him.
Death rate in iran (2000-2011) • Has increased, but only by 500,000 deaths.
GDP per capita (1999-2010) • Has increased until 2008 and is slowly decreasing.
Conclusion • My hypothesis about Iran’s death rate was correct. • However, my hypothesis about the GDP per capita were incorrect. • I guessed it would decrease, but it had increased for 9 years until 2008 when it started decreasing up to now.
