THE SCOPE Peace is manyfold: • security • diplomacy • human rights • peacekeeping • rule of law • peacebuilding • good governance • development • democracy • Ranking 152 countries in 2005 • with a multi-dimensional index gathering 20 indicators • from open and recognized sources NATO ARW – Indicators and Databases for Risk Prevention Grenoble – 21-23 June 2007 – Contribution of Xavier Zeebroek

Security • Contribution to peacekeeping operations (UN) • Ratification of 5 international conventions • Development aid in relation with GDP (UNDP) • Social expenditures in relation with military budget (UNDP) NATO ARW – Indicators and Databases for Risk Prevention Grenoble – 21-23 June 2007 – Contribution of Xavier Zeebroek
