What is Industrial Engineering? • The design, improvement and installation of integrated systems of people, materials, information, equipment, funding, and energy with • specialized knowledge and skill in the mathematical, physical, and social sciences • principles and methods of engineering analysis and design. Where Engineering Means Business & the Business is Engineering Manage projects by mapping out who does what, when, and look for ways to do it BETTER. Speed up delivery through “supply chain”
