Explain. • If you had the opportunity to interview witnesses to one • of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, what questions would you ask? What would you want to know about their experiences and thoughts? What measures do you see at airports and other places that aim to promote public safety? What do you think of these measures?

Remembering 9-11Socratic Seminar Ground Rules • Everyone will switch into an “inner circle” seat. • Only students in the inner circle can speak/debate at first. • You must RAISE YOUR HAND to speak- I will call on you. • Teacher (Mr. Kirby) is not allowed to interject personal opinion on subject • No blurting-no interrupting. • SERIOUS TONE- NO PUT DOWNS • You must fill out your scorecard completely while in the outer circle.
