  2. Departure day – Tues 19 Sept • Meet at Invercargill Airport 5:00pm • Depart 6:00pm • Arrive Auckland 8:50pm • Supper at Auckland accommodation

  3. Wed 20th Sept • Leave Auckland motel 6:00am • Depart Auckland 8:30am • Arrive Tokyo 4:40pm • Overnight in Tokyo

  4. Thurs 21 Sept • Pick up by Kumagaya Nishi bus • Tokyo sightseeing • Meet host families

  5. Fri 22 Sept – Fri 29 Sept • Stay with host families and attend school at Kumagaya Nishi. • Mayoral visit • Club activities • Sightseeing around Kumagaya

  6. Fri 29th Sept • Leave host families and Kumagaya • Sightseeing in Tokyo

  7. Sat 30 Sept • Disneyland

  8. Sun 1st Oct • Depart Tokyo • Bullet train to Hiroshima • Visit Atomic Bomb Museum & Peace Park • Stay at Hiroshima Youth Hostel

  9. Mon 2 Oct • Sightseeing on Miyajima Island • Sightseeing in Iwakuni • Sightseeing around Hiroshima

  10. Tues 3 Oct • Depart Hiroshima • Visit Himeji Castle • Sightseeing in Kyoto • Overnight in a traditional Japanese Inn

  12. Thurs 5 Oct • Travel to Osaka • Orientation & ‘Free Day’ in Osaka
