  2. It is estimated that 160,000 children miss school every day due to fear of attack or intimidation by other students. Bullying statistics say revenge is the strongest motivation for school shootings. Physical – hitting, kicking, pinching, punching, scratching, spitting or any other form of physical attack. Damage to or taking someone else’s belongings may also constitute as physical bullying. • Physical Bullying

  3. According to bullying statistics, 1 out of every 10 students who drops out of school does so because of repeated bullying. This type of bullying can lead to low self-esteem, as well as depression and other problems. It can aggravate problems that a victim may already be experiencing at home or in other places. In some cases, verbal bullying can reach a point where the victim is so depressed, and wants to escape so badly, that he or she may turn to substance abuse. Verbal– name calling, insulting, making racist, sexist or homophobic jokes, remarks or teasing, using sexually suggestive or abusive language, • Verbal Bullying

  4. Many cyber bullies think that bullying others online is funny. Cyber bullies may not realize the consequences for themselves. The things teens post online now may reflect badly on them later when they apply for college or a job. Cyber bullies can lose their cell phone or online accounts for cyber bullying. Also, cyber bullies and their parents may face legal charges for cyber bullying. CyberBullying - any type of bullying that is carried out by electronic medium. There are 7 types including: 1. Text message bullying 2. Picture/video clip bullying via mobile phone cameras 3. Phone call bullying via mobile phones 4. E-mail bullying 5. Chat-room bullying 6. Bullying through instant messaging (IM) 7. Bullying via websites • Cyber Bullying
