Days 1-3 Day 3: Thursday, Feb. 14 (MUMBAI) Day 2: Wednesday, Feb. 13 (MUMBAI) Day 1: Tuesday, Feb 12 (MUMBAI) • India and the Boom of India’s IT and BPO Industry • Understand the development of Indo-German trade relationships • Get an insight into the dynamics of India’s IT & BPO industry • During lunch break, we go out, experience, and inhale the bustling atmosphere of an Indian megacity. • NASSCOM India Leadership Forum NILF 2013 (cont’d.) • Participation in various technology, talent, and strategy tracks • NASSCOM India Leadership Forum NILF 2013 • We have the chance to participate in NILF, the flagship event of India’s IT industry. Last year’s event attracted 120 speakers and 1,600 participants; it is now taking place for the 21st time in 2013. Days 4-5 Day 4: Friday, Feb 15 (BANGALORE) Day 5: Saturday, Feb 16 (BANGALORE) We take the first morning flight out of Mumbai to Bangalore • Visit to Indian Institute of Management Bangalore • IIM-B is a leading business school in India and a partner institute of WHU; we get to interact with the faculty • Case study discussion on foreign companies doing business in India • Site Visit at Parikrma Humanity Foundation • What can be done for under-served children to break out of the poverty cycle? • Understand need, possibilities, and effect of CSR programs Morning Lunch Lunch at the Institute • Site Visit at Robert Bosch India • Understand the challenges of doing business in India: administration, production, supply-chain, marketing etc. • Site Visit at HP India • Experience IT delivery in action • Get insights from IT project managers on the delivery floor • Final Debriefing • Achieving excellence in international business • Key learnings and impressions • City walking tour and sightseeing in Bangalore; opportunity for shopping • Farewell dinner in the heart of Bangalore.
