The Rest of the Day • Two Hour breakouts (30 minutes sessions in each) • Select one presentation to attend from each breakout and go the opposite at the 30 minute mark. • Grading and Accountability Panel at 2:00 PM • Wrap-up at conclusion of all breakouts • Connections instructors meet after wrap-up … lunch served at noon …

  12. Instructor Expectations • Please see handout • Uniform curriculum • Classes must meet each week with both instructors present • Class sessions should be interactive • Instructors will use SAIL to submit mid-term and final grades

  13. Course Assignments • You must include one assignment from each of the following categories: • Group Project • Writing Assignment • Personal Interaction • Campus Involvement • Attendance and Participation points must still be given, however, they are not considered an assignment.

Course Objectives • Learn about campus resources and how to use them • Build positive relationships with peers, faculty, and staff • Explore personal strengths, abilities and interests and how they contribute to your college experience • Learn skills for successfully navigating the college environment

Points • The total points for the course must equal 400 • You decide how many points each course assignment (and attendance/participation) is worth • You can give points for the self-assessment, if you wish • This would technically be the 5th assignment • COM 101 Grading Scale available on instructor website
