CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR EDUCATOR (CIE)
  • ATC or Physician
  • Attends CIE Seminar
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience
  • Assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating a clinical education program

APPROVED CLINCIAL INSTRUCTOR (ACI)
  • ATC
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience
  • Completed ACI training
  • Provides formal instruction and evaluation of clinical proficiencies
  • Provides direct supervision of students
clinical instructor ci
CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR (CI)
  • ATC or other healthcare professional
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience
  • Teaches, evaluates, and supervises students in field experiences
  • NO formal evaluation of clinical proficiencies

ATHLETIC TRAINING STUDENT (ATS)
  • Student enrolled in a CAAHEP accredited entry-level Athletic Training Education Program
