Job Priorities Mechanism Testbed Installation Update

Job Priorities mechanism successfully tested on SA3 Certification Testbed with no issues remaining. Next steps include configuring JP in 3 PPS sites, testing with different schedulers, VOs, and roles, and expanding testing scale. Current status involves resolving configuration issues and planning for more extensive testing collaborating with Andrea Sciaba (CMS).

Current Status • JobPriorities mechanism has been tested on SA3 Certification Testbed • Installed with a “branched” version of YAIM • No remaining issues to report • Next steps: • Configuration of JP in 3 PPS sites • At least 1 Torque+Maui and 1 LSF • Testing with 2 Vos and 2 Roles/Groups per VO • And larger scale of tests (longer periods of time)

  3. Current Status • PPS sites have been installed. • Some configuration issues have been spotted and cured promptly • Not related with JP • Current showstopper I fear is ME. • Had no time to carry on more extensive testing. • Will try to do it this week, in collaboation with Andrea Sciaba (CMS)
