  3. The Master had an end in mind Jesus said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always here.(John 7:6 ESV) So they were seeking to arrest him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.(John 7:30 ESV) These words he spoke in the treasury, as he taught in the temple; but no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come. (John 8:20 ESV)

  4. The Master had an end in mind He said this to show by what kind of death he was going to die. (John 12:33 ESV) Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. (John 13:1 ESV) When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, (John 17:1 ESV)

  5. There is value in prioritizing life Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us. (Philippians 3:17 ESV) Gives us direction for daily decisions

  6. There is value in prioritizing life Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14 ESV) Focuses our energy for real effort

  7. There is value in prioritizing life Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test! (2 Corinthians 13:5 ESV) Provides a yardstick for evaluation

  8. There is value in prioritizing life “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21 ESV) Leads to obedience of God’s objectives

  9. There is value in prioritizing life To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away… (Matthew 25:15ff ESV) Helps us effectively to use God’s gifts
