  2. Assignment • You are a tour guide who takes guests on a tour of the Neuron as an Action Potential • To advertise your tour, you are to make a travel brochure.

Your brochure must include • A snazzy title and picture on the front • A map of the neuron • Dendrites and their function • Cell body • Axon and it’s function • Axon terminals and their function • A written description of the tour • Type of Neuron (Sensory or Motor) • Pretend that you ride the Action Potential as it travels through the Neuron • Be sure to say where the impulse (message) starts and where it goes depending on the type of neuron) • Explain what happens to the charge as the Action Potential travels through the Neuron • Everything MUST be detailed and in COLOR
