  2. Windows Screen Is Flickering or Flashing Screen flickering error occurs while login your windows. When the screen goes to black and restart again and going back again means it is screen flickering or flashing.

  3. Steps to resolve Screen flickering issues on Windows 10 Need to update the office to the new version. • Step 1: Open the Task Manager by pressing the Ctrl +Shift + Esc. • For more details click the down arrow at the bottom of the dialog.

  4. Step 2: In the Task Manager, choose FileRun new task. • Step 3: In create new task, Enter the cmd and select Create this task with administrative privileges.

Step 4: After that new window will appear and that titled as Administrator: c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe • Step 5: And then enter the following command in the cmd.exe window. for /r "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\root" %i in (GROOVEEX.*) do ren "%i" *.bad • Step 6: If the flashing is not stopped, again enter the following command. Otherwise, skip this step. for /r "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\root" %i in (GROOVEEX.*) do ren "%i" *.bad • During the flashing, it is hard to enter the command on your system. So you need to start your windows in Safe Mode and then enter these commands.

  6. To enter the command in safe mode: • Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete buttons • Press shift key and power icon and then select restart • Select Troubleshoot Advanced Options  Startup Settings  Restart • After that Enable Safe Mode with Command Prompt. • Now you can easily type the command in the command prompt.

  7. Step 7: To update Office enter the following command in the cmd.exe "C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\officec2rclient.exe" /update USER ForceAppShutdown=True

  8. After the update completion, you will see the following alert. For alert, it may take 10 to 15 minutes.
