  2. Webinar Presentations • Using your key learning notes, prepare a presentation of your group's webinar. • Your presentation should express the important information presented in the webinar in a clear and concise way (graph, chart, diagram, map, flow chart, or some other visual and easy to read format etc..) • You can use Power Point (if you have a computer or you may be able to work on it in the lab) or chart paper. • Your group will have 20 minutes to prepare your presentation. The presentations should only be about 5 minutes long. • Be sure to include the title of your webinar and a general description of the webinar.

  3. Gp. Project: 4 Interlocking Structures • Form a group with no more than 4 people who are in the same school as you. • Follow the instructions on the hand out: • Define effective learning environment. • Come up with five characteristics of an effective learning environment. • Given the four interlocking structures (ch. 4) conduct an analysis of your school environment. • Using the table on page 3 of the handout list the effective and hindering elements of your school environment. • Discuss and write a response to the three reflection questions.

  4. Reflection Questions: • Do the four structures of your school appear to be interconnected or are there disconnects? For example, are there elements within one structure that counteract or conflict with another structure or other structures? Give examples to support your response. • What are some quick changes your school could implement to move towards a “new version” that better supports 21st century learning? • What are some more difficult changes that your school could implement to move towards a “new version” that better supports 21st century learning? What are the obstacles to making these changes?
