Panel Interview Tips STEP 1: Research, research, research. STEP 2: Read over your research and brainstorm a list of questions. STEP 3: Choose the top three questions you want to know from the panel. STEP 4: Ask the Questions STEP 5: Take notes on their answers to keep important information and to ensure you’re not asking the same question again
Step 1: Research • Our panelists • In small groups, research the following about the college: • Location • Type of institution (2 yr, 4 yr, public, private, etc.) • Student population • Demographics • Degrees offered • Majors • Entrance requirements • Cost • Dorm life/residential life • Student Activities • Famous graduates
Step 2: Brainstorm Questions • Form small groups. • Based on your research, brainstorm questions that you could ask the panelists
Step 3: Select Questions • Each student should choose 3 questions form the list of brainstormed questions that you wish to ask the panelists • Write your questions on a note card with your name.
