  4. Researching Schools • Participate in Open Houses or visit College Campuses • College Foundation of North Carolina • www.CFNC.org • Create an account • Virtual Tours of colleges, college website addresses • Everything you need can be found on this website

  5. Applying to College/Community Colleges • Online applications • College websites • Paper applications • Request from college or download form and print • CFNC • Apply to multiple schools at one time • Letters of Recommendation

  6. Counselor Statements • Some schools will have, some will not • Print and complete student portion before giving to counselor • Attach to transcript request form

  7. Requesting a Transcript • Form located in Student Services and online • First 3 transcripts are free, any after that will cost $3.00 • Transcripts needed for scholarship purposes are always free • Counselor Statements
