  3. All JOA Freshman Scholars are to meet with Mrs. Kasunic this Friday, September 27 in Room 208 at 7:45am.  • Please let your homeroom teacher know that you will not be in homeroom on Friday.

  4. Today is Eucharistic Adoration for the Freshmen.   • Freshmen religion classes should report to the chapel.   • All are welcome to come and pray with our Lord any time throughout the day.  

  5. Golf News The results from yesterdays match – Upper St Clair 169 OC 202 Special congratulations to Francesca Corna with her lowest score ever with a 48

  6. Volleyball News Congratulations to the JV and Varsity volleyball teams. They defeated Penn Hills last night. The team returns home on Monday to play Bethel Park. Come support the team, JV starts at 6. Good luck girls. 

  7. Field Hockey Cancer Awareness Game • Come support the field hockey seniors and the fight against cancer in one night of field hockey fun • October 1st, Ceremony starting at 5:30 at Winchester Thurston Field. • Sponsored by the OC Cancer Awareness Club

  15. There will be a mandatory meeting for any Juniors or Seniors who want to be class retreat leaders. The meeting is on Monday, September 30th at 2:45 in the Lecture Hall.  

  16. The 47th Annual Duquesne University College Fair will be held at the A.J. Palumbo Center on Sunday, October 13th from 1PM to 3PM Over 150 colleges and universities will be in attendance.  This is a great way to meet with representatives from a variety of schools No registration is required.

  17. If you're still looking for a sport or activity for this school year, the rowing team is taking new members from any grade and welcomes anyone who is interested to attend a practice and try it out! • Novice rowing practices are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:30-8pm and Saturday, 8-11am. • All grades are welcome. • If interested, feel free to talk to any of the current rowers, captains Juliana Fellowes and Christina Moody, or the front office for coaches' contact information.
