Critical Mail Requirements • Letters-letter-size pieces not to exceed 3 ounces in weight or 1/4 inch thickness • Flats-flat-size pieces not to exceed 13 ounces in weight or 3/4 inch thickness • 5,000 letter-size and flat-size pieces in the previous calendar year • Critical Mail pieces must bear an Intelligent Mail barcode and postage may be paid with: USPS-approved PC-Postage products when registered end-users use a qualifying shipping label or permit imprint. • Signature Confirmation Letters- $3.50+$1.10=$4.60 • Signature Confirmation Flats-$4.50+$.85=$5.35
