  7. New Online Application Form Form 3a - renewal of the five year professional license Launches April 17th All documentation will be electronic: • Credit hour transcripts • PDC transcripts • Experience verification Online payment now possible

Applicant • System guides applicant through options step by step – starting with asking degree level • Indicates documentation for each available option – how to provide • Responsible for directing the system to contact the correct district(s)! • Responsible for getting official university transcripts to district Ensures all documentation is complete with application Quicker, more efficient processing

District role: • Verification of experience when applicable • Upload all transcripts for points awarded = PDC and University • Applicant responsible to get official university transcript to district • District can maintain official transcript in their files – eliminates need for multiple transcripts • District access through KSDE authenticated applications – License Applications

State Funded Mentor Stipends Mentor Programs – KSDE Authenticated application • Applied for grant by entering Mentors - Fall, 2018 • Application opening soon (May 1) • Adjust mentor list • Enter Mentees • Create assignments • Submit • Eligible mentors will be certified by KSDE • Allocation divided by total # of qualified mentors = stipend • Funds deposited to general fund in final payment

  15. Requirements of mentors to qualify hold a professional level license assignment as a classroom teacher • reported as educator type 1-5 in the LPR 3 consecutive school years of employment in the district mentoring no more than two 1st(or 2nd) year teachers completed a mentor training program
