  2. Munich (München) is the capital and largest city of the German state of Bavaria, on the banks of River Isar north of the Bavarian Alps. Ludwigstrasse, this great boulevard running from Odeonsplatz to the Siegestor is another realisation of King Ludwig I's dreams to make Munich a city of royal dimensions

  16. The Catholic Parish and University Church Saint Louis, called Ludwigskirche,  is a monumental church in neo-romanesque style with the second-largest altar fresco of the world
