Muzeul se află în comuna Moldoviţa, județul Suceava, la 4 kilometri distanţă de Mănăstirea Moldoviţa.Într-o clădire cu etaj au fost aranjate 19 vitrine cu peste 2.000 de ouă, majoritatea închistrite de Lucia, celelalte aparţinând altor meşteri din toată lumea. Muzeul a fost inaugurat la mijlocul lui 2008, iar de atunci mii de oameni i-au călcat pragul
