  1. Interesting Facts: 14 March Commonwealth Day Today is Commonwealth Day which takes place the 2nd Monday of March every year. It is an opportunity to promote understanding of global issues, introduce co-operation and the work of the Commonwealth’s organisation which aims to improve the lives of its citizens. Presently there are 54 states/parts of the world involved. The next Commonwealth Games are in Gold Coast Australia in 2018. 17 March St Patricks Day Saint Patrick is the foremost Patron Saint of Ireland, and is probably the most widely celebrated saint’s day in the World.

  4. Eco Club Good morning everyone, we would like to talk to you about Earth Hour 2016. This Saturday, March 19th, from 8:30 to 9:30pm across 24 time zones and 6 continents people will switch off their lights to raise awareness of Climate change. Last year 172 countries took part. Here at Papdale, each of us made a triangle which then created the banner that goes throughout the school. We also switched our lights off for an hour. For us to Change climate change this Earth Hour, we will be switching our lights off from 2 to 3pm every day this week Monday to Friday starting this afternoon.
