This study examines patient engagement in a primary care practice during 2008, analyzing interactions based on defined categories of activities. The findings are derived from a dedicated work effort of four full-time equivalent physicians who collectively spent 50-60 hours per week across 230 workdays. The insights are presented in "What’s Keeping Us So Busy in Primary Care? A Snapshot from One Practice," highlighting the complexity and demands in delivering primary care effectively.
