FRAME YOUR IDENTITY

This project aims to foster community by visually characterizing classmates and introducing them to the class. Use collected interview information to create an article with visuals using construction paper. Day one involves completing a questionnaire, day two focuses on exchanging papers, highlighting points, writing follow-up questions, and interviewing each other. Create a list of pictures to include in the frame and begin constructing the final copy on day three. The final project, including the printed copy and frame, is due at the start of class.

  2. Objective: Get to know your classmates.. the assignment is to use the information gathered from interviews to visually characterize your partner and introduce them to the class. Using construction paper, you will create an article with visuals describing your partner.

  3. Frame your identity: Day one Respond to the given questionnaire. Remember that the information may be used in the article written about you . Be specific and provide vivid details when possible. • Exchange papers with your partner

  4. Frame your identity: Day two • Highlightinteresting points or confusing sections • write follow-up questions on a separate sheet of paper • Interview each other to obtain answers to your follow-up questions. Take good notes! • Create a list of pictures to include on the frame • Begin final copy

  5. Frame your identity: Day three • Complete final copy (print in library) • Construct frame • DUE tomorrow at start of class

  6. What’s due: • Answers to initial questions • final draft with frame
