Utilizing the AYV program to create inspirational role model videos, gather youth views through media, and promote science education in rural schools. Enhance creativity, communication, and team skills while engaging the community in science. Develop soft skills and academic knowledge through video production. Stakeholders influenced include school leaders, teachers, parents, and community members. Project-based learning approach to drive interest and skills in video creation for youth.

  2. GOALS FOR INCOPORATING AYV INTO OUR WORK. 1. Using the inquiry based approach to first get the prior information that they know and later add on what they have. 2. Creating videos of role models that can inspire the youth that are still in school. • Old scientists in the field like doctors • Students who have excelled in sciences 3. Finding out peoples views (youth) through media

  3. RELEVANCE OF YOUTH MEDIA Current Learning Objectives: • Helps us to share out our experiences and skills. • Motivates us and the other youth like making videos of role models. Others: Keeps the youth updated about new science concepts

  4. UNIQUE EXPERIENCES AND PERSPECTIVES Media making experience: Experiences and skills in production of video and audio lessons . Project based learning • Promoting science education in rural schools through the project Education for the rural people using ict. • Working with world starts with me.

  10. Benefits for Youth beyond AYV • Gain knowledge and same of the skills as we share with them. • Get a chance to air out their views i.e. as we interview them.

  11. Issues that the youth may engage in • Production of videos of science role models i.e. interviewing them of how they got to where they are. • Interview the community to get their views on sciences and teachers can use these to influence students to do sciences. • Video lessons.

  14. Through giving testimonies about the skills I have gained and how I have been benefited,during workshops like this one. Burning CDs and DVDs and sending them out to the youth in schools. Through the well known and regularly used websites like the one for schoolnet. Ways of sharing
