The First Days of School September 15th 9:00– 11:00 Group A Children with parents September 15th 12:00 -2:00 Group B Children with parents September 16th 9:00– 11:00 Group C Children with parents September 16th 12:00 -2:00 Group D Children with parents September 17th All students will attend school all day

Learning at School Daily Schedules vary from teacher to teacher but center around the components from the Virginia Standards. • Literacy • KG1 utilizes Storytown • Students will go the library once a week. • Math • Science • History & Social Science • Health & Physical Development • Personal & Social Development • Arabic- KG1 only • Specials

  6. New School Jitters • Separation Anxiety • Arrivals/Departures/Transportation • Expectations of Parents

  7. Health and Nutrition • New Canteen Provider – Cairo Kitchen • Pre-K will not be utilizing any cafeteria facilities or programs • Healthy foods and Snacks • Sneezes, Sniffles and Scratches • Clothing
