  1. How strong are you?

  2. Reminder regarding January • The church is requested to pray and fast all food from 12/31 at Midnight to 1/1/13 at Midnight and pray for our nation • The church is requested to fast something of your choosing for the entire month of January • The church is asked to come to church 15 minutes early every Sunday for 2013 to pray for our leaders and nation.

  3. Dr. Hayfords prophetic word • Unless we pray and intercede for our leaders • Unless we seek being living examples of worship in humility, recognizing that He is our strength • Unless the Churches first priority be developing disciples, not building projects, not high paying salaries, not programs and popularity • Unless the Church is willing to stand and pray for Israel, recognizing that they are His chosen people

  4. Unless the church becomes more persuaded that the fountainhead of its strength is in living worship-by which we humble ourselves, seeking God's presence

  5. The fountainhead of strength • As a nation, as an individual, what is strength? • Common stumbling blocks • Is it in our 401K quarterly report • Is it in our government making good decisions • Is it in how effectively we proclaim the Gospel • Our job, our education, our background? • Is our strength our level of activity in the church • Is it the number of hours we pray per day

  6. Unless the church becomes more persuaded that the fountainhead of its strength is in living worship-by which we humble ourselves, seeking God's presence

  7. Worship • It is an action verb, not a passive verb • It requires more than being, it requires doing • The Greek word actually means to regard with extravagant honor and devotion • We are told that true worship is only in Spirit and in Truth • It is an intimate, vulnerable, honest, and humble presentation of yourself

  8. Luke 18:10-14

  9. Deut 16:11-17

  10. So many things • Where? Deut 12:11-12, 7 spontaneous and planned house churches • When? • How? Prostrate, bowing, hands held up • With others? YES – Heb 10:25, even more as we see the DAY approaching

  11. Humbled In His Presence Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen
