STD WEBQUEST -a way of finding out beforehand
Introduction • Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), as the term implies, are diseases transmitted through sexual activities. Because the infections often do not cause any symptoms, many more cases go undetected and untreated.
Immunulogy • STDs are transmitted by exchange of body fluids or by direct contact with the infected area. It is also believed that most sexually transmitted diseases facilitate the transmission of HIV infection. (A review of the introduction to Immunology might be helpful.)
