  2. General Job Description • Statistics is the study of the collection, organization, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data. • It deals with all aspects of data including the planning of data collection in terms of the design of surveys and experiments

  3. Work Environment • Although statisticians work mostly in offices, they may travel to oversee a survey's design or implementation

  4. Education / Training • There are many ways to get a education in statistics one of the ways is to take courses in high school and college involved in math and continue with math courses until you master statistics. • The training is similar to the education, many classes offer statistics based classes.

  5. Hours of Work Statisticians usually work a regular 40-hour work week in an office setting.

  6. Average Salary or Hourly Wage • Median-$75,560 per year $36.33 per hour • Experience also depends on pay
