What is Pollution ? • The contamination of air, water, or soil by substances that are harmful to living organisms. • There are different types of pollution such as Air , Land & Water . • Pollution is killing the ozone layer which protects us from the sun so as of right now we are going threw global warming

  4. Air Pollution • Air pollution presents big environmental threat in many parts of the world. Air pollution includes variety of different harmful chemicals and gases released from our vehicles and our industrial facilities that make our air dirty. • Air pollution also has negative impact on climate change, harmful emissions are not only polluting air we breathe but are also giving greenhouse effect much more impact, therefore increasing average temperature on our planet.

Land Pollution • Land pollution is pollution of the Earth’s natural land surface by industrial, commercial, domestic and agricultural activities. • Some examples is Chemical and nuclear plants Industrial factories Oil refineries Human sewage Oil and antifreeze leaking from cars Mining Littering Overcrowded landfills Deforestation Construction debris

  6. Water Pollution • Water pollution is the introduction of chemical, biological and physical matter into large bodies of water that degrade the quality of life that lives in it and consumes it. • Water Pollution is usually from sewage waste and it kills and harms the sea creatures.

  7. How Can We Reduce Pollution ? • We can stop littering , properly dispose of sewage & drive hybrid cars. • Also we need to plant a lot of new trees to provide us with oxygen.

  8. Summary • Pollution is killing us in so many ways . As you can see the world is going through global warming . In the winter the temperature went to about 70 degrees. We need to stop pollution now before our world is over.
