  3. Coordinating Conjunctions Normal word order take place. STOMP Most common coordinating conjunctions = Aber, oder, und, denn, sondern zB.   5. Subordinating Conjunctions Sends the verb to the end of the sentence. How can you tell the difference? The clauses don’t make complete sense on their own. zB. When I returned home, the front door was locked. When I returned home.... Not a complete sentence
