  2. English as a Second Language (ESL) • Purpose Provide foreign-born spouses with the ability to better understand English and therefore, be better prepared to participate in the Military community with confidence in the English language.

  3. English as a Second Language (ESL) • Four course series, with each level building on the skills acquired in the previous course. • Each lesson includes a variety of activities and skill areas designed to meet each student’s needs.

  4. Schweinfurt Newcomers Awareness Program for Spouses (SNAPS) • SNAPS is a 5 day introduction to the Military community and local area • SNAPS assists all spouses in becoming comfortable living in Germany and provides the following: Explanation of train and bus systems, hospital tour, tour of downtown Schweinfurt, cultural and shopping experiences

  5. Lunch Bunch • Our goal is to integrate foreign-born spouses into the community by making them more aware of social and recreational programs. • Once a months we offer “Lunch Bunch” spouses get together for lunch at various restaurants and during which a wide range of topics are discussed such as adjusting to life in a foreign country. The group is a wonderful resource to meet other spouses.

  6. Destination Schweinfurt • ACS provides on a monthly basis - cultural excursions to different medieval little towns, or churches, museums, and shopping opportunities. • We provide support, addressing and providing information relating to living in Germany, and being part of Army life.

  7. Citizenship and Immigration Assistance Help Soldiers and Family Members assembling the I-130 (Petition) packet for Immigrant Visa. Explain Form G325 A, Biographic Information. Review if all required original documents pertaining to the petition. Schedule an appointment through INFOPASS for the client.
