  2. Introduction • Freshwater is not a biome • Freshwater ecosystems around the world. • Freshwater ecosystem are in every biome • They have a vast variety of animals

  3. Biotic Factors • Location: Lakes, ponds, streams, rivers, wetlands, ground water ect. • Characteristics: contains drinkable water or water that does not have salt in it.
