Fox Run’s Learning Environment is designed to enrich and support every learner through various programs! • Renaissance leadership program • Character Development (Heroes, H2, REAL, D.A.R.E, Butt Ugly, Think Day) • P.E. Program (skiing, swimming, snowshoeing, XC skiing…..) • Sports Teams (cross country running, volleyball, basketball, badminton, golf, track and field) • Clubs (Science/Eco, Library, Drama, Choir, Cheer, and more) • Band • Choir • Breakfast Program • Hockey Academy What Makes Us Unique?

Accountability Pillar Report Clink on the link below to view raw data: The annual Accountability Pillar Survey seeks responses from students, parents and staff and is a measure of satisfaction on a variety of indicators. 2012-13 was the first time that all grade were surveyed in the school using this survey which significantly increased our data sample size. 2012-2013 Results

  16. Fox Run firmly believes in the 5 Rs of Renaissance: Respect, Recognition, Reinforcement, Reward, and RESULTS! Fox Run has a strong, active School Council that supports many activities and events by: • Monthly School Council meetings • Creation of Ecole Fox Run School Fundraising Society • Completed first Casino Fundraiser in Dec. 2013 • Staff appreciation (World Teacher’s Day/Education Week) • Volunteering for Renaissance events (Month-End Parties, Excellence Assemblies, Spirit Rallies, etc) • Actively searching for ways to help and to improve what is already a great community for children to learn and develop (30 Hour Famine, Uganda School Project, etc.) School Council and Parental Involvement

Future planning • What is on the horizon? • Sylvan Lake continues to be a fast growing community with the commercial sector expanding rapidly which means new families relocating to Sylvan Lake. • Fox Run continues to be at capacity for learning spaces and has participated actively with CESD Corporate Services to plan for future growth. • Strong community partnerships have developed through unique learning experiences (Renaissance, Heroes, Get REAL, Camp Evergreen) at Fox Run. Three Trends

Three Challenges Future planning • What we need to look into…. • An improved transition plan for our French Immersion students to maintain the growing F.I. numbers into middle school and high school • Continued discussions with Corporate Services to ensure that facilities are in place for the growth in Sylvan Lake • More partnerships within the community to expand our current programming (Renaissance, Heroes, Get REAL, etc.)
